Post-Menopausal Bleeding

Bleeding or spotting occurring after you have reached menopause requires urgent investigations and treatment in all cases. This is an important early sign of uterine or endometrial cancer although the commonest cause is thinning of the lining of the vagina from age-appropriate lack of oestrogen.
