Urodynamics

Urodynamics are tests of your bladder function when there is leakage/incontinence or other bladder concerns. You first empty your bladder while seated in a chair into a jar on a special machine. Catheters are inserted in the bladder and vagina which is connected to a computer. Measurements of pressure, volume and leakage are taken while the bladder is filled up with water. The procedure takes about an hour to do.

A special appointment is needed for this test and you will complete a bladder diary for three days before you visit.
